whats up. i picked up my first blaster a week ago from a local atv shop who bought it from the bank as a repo....i know a bank repo on an 02 blaster.. i laughed too. anyways i got it for 800 bucks and its in pretty decent condition, just needs new tires and the previous owner remove the baffle from the factory silencer so it sounds pretty crappy right now in my opinion. im fixing to order the toomey b1 system tho when i get my tax return back. anyways the transmission is doing something funny. whenever its in first gear and i give it 3/4 or full throttle it pops out of gear into neutral. it only does this in first gear none of the others. it dont think the clutch is going out cause like i said its not doing it in the other gears. any advice?

take the clutch cover off and check out the shift star arm and see if the spring is broke or off....pick up a service manual on ebay it will help you a lot
