well heres what it looks like then. the piston blew up and cracked the cases, that was how i bought it, didnt know the cases were broke.
so i had the cases welded up, put a fresh .80 piston in it, replaces ALL the suspension bearings, chain and sprockets and levers. i dont have any pics of it back together but it looks the same and its running now, lol.

That sucks!!! Howd they steal it??? so now u bought a 2000 and have to start the process all over??? Lemme know dude...that blows..
They cut the lock off my shed and took it. I already had the 2000, but it blew up. Connecting rod snapped and destroyed the cylinder. My YZ250 just blew to, piston skirt broke off. So im thinking about putting the 250 in the blaster frame. Anyway... sorry about the thread jack.
blasterchris, dude you have no idea. i got my blaster for free from my uncle, payed up the bumhole for shipping, mixed some gas got it going, fixed the idle, went riding, throttle was sticky, rode it until one day i decided to bring it in to a shop cuz the carb was wicked sh*tty, took it to the shop it sat there for atleast 3 weeks, got it back blew it up the next day, tanked the whole motor (similar to what you did), got it back like a month later and it cost me 1750. HOW GREAT!
WOW!! I guess its worse then me....dont know bout timewise but yea....how old are you??? and how do u have the money for it...i got these two quads and a 2002 truck and im dying trying to pay for the blaster, my 04 recon and truck(just put new ball joints and tie rods....new cylinder coils) Over the past two months i ve put about 2000 into all three and its killin me!!! lol
Dude, Im all out of dough already from this damn thing. I put 1300 in to it myself (i worked like alllll summer). then it blew and my mom felt bad so she paid for it for now (my dads got a business and were having financial troubles, so wrong timing i guess?) then my dad heard and he said i have to come up with half. I guess your situation sucks also, i hope we can get a break now thanks to obama. Anways im 13 with no job... : / I got 10 bucks an hour under the table allllll summer, then i got the blasty at the end of the summer and rode it like under 10 times before it blew up BLEW up causing a whole upper lower rebuild. But i got a stroker out of the deal. now all i have to do is come up with 800 bucks. lol
Yea, well at least the guy at ur shop got it done in a timely manner....kust talked to him again today and had another excuse for y it wont be done today...lol but not really lol its getting tiring waiting and hoping it will be done.....i hope i feel that when i get it back and it kicks the rest of my friends quads and bikes asses it will still be worth the btw (780)is the total at this point now!! oh man! i have about $200 to my name! and im 17 wit a truck to pay for and insuarnce....my bad for venting here !
