So Ive been on here for a bit looking at stuff, researching etc, but I figured Id introduce myself.

I was given an 88 blaster, it has some work done to it, when I got it I had to change out the stator.

It has a wiesco piston, not sure if its bored or stroked, Im assuming at least its bored, it has an aftermarket carb, and some other stuff. Its pretty quick.

Im just gonna be working on getting everything all up to par on it. I ordered an a arm bushing kit, and Im looking at replacing the chain (just because its old and I dont want it to break) and the front and rear shocks. Eventually do a hydro brake upgrade and extended swingarm and a arms and banshee axles.

Im in Layton Utah. Lots of good places to ride around here. Anyone else around here?

welcome. i have to ask... how did you get the stator off? i was told to buy a puller but i dont have money and the quad shop is 40 miles away

Off topic I know but you have to pull the fly wheel off to get to the stator. You need a fly wheel puller to get the fly wheel off. You can get one for $10-$14 online. I got mine from parts unlimited for cheap.

BTW welcome to the forum!

I did. I emailed the admin to see if he can either fix it, or refund my money so I can get the correct subscription going on.

Just click HERE and use the drop down list down the bottom to order your subscription, hey what's another 10 bucks if it is going to the forum, right???? I:I
