welcome.. looks like you got a good deal. looks like some one hacked the intake on the one. i wouldn't run that one.. they both look like they have been bored pretty far. its up to you on what one to run ..

welcome aboard man, nice score there. i dunno about that intake in the pic, mabey worth a try but ive never seen anything like that before. :o :o

Welcome to the forum that port looks a bit dogy get a new (used) one if you can it will save you loads of trouble later on

welcome, nice blaster to start with. you could easily do a few mods and make a huge difference. now onto the business.....

the intake box looks wrong to me.....btw the intake box has nothing to do with porting. you can port an cylinder, leave the intake box stock and get the same results. people port them becasue they look pretty. ask any guy who does porting.

someone who knows a little bit about porting may want to look into that. also see which cyilder is in better shape, by that i mean the sleeve. cant tell by looking, but idk if one is a big bore. only way to tell is by measuring. so have a professional look at both, and tell you which is better.

most guys run BB240 kits cuz they want more power, well that is a good idea, but yours may not be usable, also if its been ported, you dont know what its ported for, could be ported for a stroker, or a pipe you dont have....so look into it first, pictures are worth a thousand words, but in this case, its hard to really tell.....
