We bought a 2004 blaster for my stepson for Christmas as a surprise, and I'm redoing it cosmetically before we give it to him. I've been doing custom vehicles for a while and do my own powder coating on a small scale so i am able to do the parts we wanted powdered myself. Once we give it to him ill turn this account over to him. He just turned 15 and used to race quads when he was 6/7 but it got expensive even though his dad is an ATV mechanic in Florida. The build thread is here:

When acquiring a used 2 stroke it is always good to do a leak test and confirm that the jetting suits the motor mods.

Thanks guys, it's a great running bike too. Even as cold as it is here, 1-2 kicks and its running. Which dispels a lot of the myths I always heard about 2 strokes.

welcome. blasters are great little quads. if you can, the lime green would really make the bike pop if you painted the plastic the headlight mounts to.I:I

I had considered that but I would want the green to match the wheels and the Plastidip I have isn't even close, I found Kawasaki makes a candy lime green paint, and I may check into that but I saw touch up bottles at like $26 so I can't imagine a pint of it

Thanks guys. The link to the build thread is listed above if yous haven't seen it yet.
