just picked up a 99 blaster bone stock.was running great until I took it out on the trails and the ign. coil to a crap and had to get towed back to the truck

Welcome to the forum ! Where from MI are you? I think we may have a coil if you are close to where we are we could get it to you.

no the plug is good I took off the coil on my buddys and it fired right up,swapped them back and it doesnt fire
We live in Linwood. Which is just north of Bay City. Probably 45 mins from you or so.

Another problem these seem to have is the boot going bad on the coil.. They just screw on, and if that goes bad it will appear you have a faulty coil too.
That was the problem to looks like it burned up the wire so I screwed on one off my buddys first and still nothing when we switched up the coils it firesd right up
Ahh ok well I will look around tomorrow to see if we still have one... Im working another double tonight so Im sort of tied up

im new here too and im from michigan. im in portage. once i get my blaster fixed and broke in(putting a new top end rebuild on 'er ATM) i would be down to go riding anywhere i can.
Well i hear bundy hill is a good spot to ride but you have to have a flag on ur 4wheeler but o well but if thats your blaster in the pic u might think about a rod kit to but anyway let me no
the rod is good, and the crank is good too, checked it all over, for more info on my build check my thread in introductions, its under High-Tech. sorry for the thread jack
