Just picked up an 05 that has a bad motor. Hoping to fix it up and goof around on it on my 5 acres or go up to silver with it. So if anyone has a running motor that I could slap right it, let me know! The cases on this one have a hole in the bottom.

Man, lots of new guys from Michigan! Welcome, Don't got a motor but this is a great place to find one or get some leads....
sweet man. yeah the top ends on these are a joke! its really east to rebuild one just please do a leakdown test to make sure theres no intake air leaks before you break it in.

I'm from the Grand Rapids area but we are soon moving out to Fruitport, which is just north of Grand Haven, about 45 minutes south of silver lake. Not quite sure what to do with the motor at this time, the bottom of the cases has a nice size hole. The guy I bought it from said he lent it to some friends to goof around on and blew it up. The piston broke which I would then assume got pushed to the bottom which then blew out.
Ebay has case sides for $30ish each... Split it, and start over haha...
