New carb ?'s

I am thinking about upgrading mt Blaster, and I was looking into a new carb. What carb would work well with little mods? I may add some reeds, and a real exhaust, but no plans for a bore or stroke just yet. Which 30mm Mikuni would work? What is the difference between the D slide, flat slide and the round slide?
