We all have the feeling. But do it right.
You will need to leak test, clean carb and drain gas. Change jetting, compression test, heat cycles.
If you dont do all that, you will get to rebuild again once its blown I:I
What pipe do you have on it?
I plan on all that already have tore down the engine just waiting for my gasket kit to come in cuz i can almost garentee after sittin all them years if will have an air leak gas is already drained gas and cleaned the carb and i have fmf on it
I figured i would throw an update in here after all i learned tons off you guys. I now have mine running like a top. Ended up not boreing my bbk (still have it cuz i will one day) but i bought a used jug and matching pision on ebay for 75 bucks tore everything down painted the frame then went at it with the motor. It does have a stroker cranck unconfermed on the + size but i have to use a spacer at the bottom of the jug. 30mm mikuni carb. Unknown reeds but have a reed spacer. The heads been milled down but not made in to a hemi or tolidoal or whatever lol fmf pipe and silencer. Suprisingly enough jetting was correct lol I got it all back together thanks to you guys with the help in other threads thing rips. I scared my fiance on it and her son lol
