okay so i finished my motor half of my teardown and rebuild and now i want to upgrade my suspension so i can hit some pretty big doubles without ever worrying about bottoming out my shocks.
my question is what aftermarket rear axles are incredibly strong that any of you are very satisfied with buying, and what brand of shocks work the best. also what is the advantage to having either a remote reservoir or piggyback reservoir on shocks.
i was thinking about getting stage 1 elkas in front (no reservoir at all) and a stage 2 or 3 in the back from ebay assuming the advantage of having a ressi in front does not warrant another 300 dollars for stage 2's.
was also considering picking up 1 of ken's extended swingarms, (hopefully like +6 or as big as i can go with the shock i end up with) how do i find out how far i can extend my a-arms and swingarm with the suspension im going to buy?
