wow those are expensive boots!!! lol my wife said i need to find a used pair because the pair i wanted was 220.00 and that was to much lol
 
A-stars are the most comfortable mx boots I have ever worn. I had Tech 4s with the old style sole. Never any problems for over 2 years but I wasn't racing though.
 
I agree.^ I love the looks of Gaerne and I hear they are pretty nice. I have a pair of MSR VX-1's and they are great but shifting sometimes is a pain.
 
Up until last year I was an Alpinestars dealer.... I had tech3s and 4s both were crap
I ended up buying a cheap pair of Thor quadrant boots and they were 1/4 the price of the Astars and a lot better fit and quality.
they do make a quadrant ATV boot.
 
I have a pair of TCX Combat boots and i love them. i only used them a few times
in trails and forestry's. But out of the 2 of them i would get the Alpinestars boots
