reeds will help increase throttle response. but not increase power, maybe a horsepower.

i know ken made a video on how you can do a "clean up" port job at home. it will help increase the power some.

it means geting the head milled and reshaped for more compresion better fuel burning meaning more power better throatle response

i would suggest getting a dual stage style reed. like said before this wont increase power that is noticeable, it will be a throttle response increase.

@ blasterboy06 its not that expensive if its your concern.. you can buy a 14T sprocket for around 13-14$ bucks.. and you can also drop the back sprocket too.. also if you have the steady hand, and tools you can do your own clean up port,your probably thinking how to do it, well all you have to do is really remove all that carbon on the exhaust port, get it to a smooth finish, also on the intake port you can smoothen it out some and get some power out of it. im thinking about doing the same thing.

i think you can send it out somewhere for 50 bucks so the pros can do it for you.. but for 150 or 100 bucks you can get a trail port which is way better.. trust me these things give you some noticeable engine power! ill see where you can send it..
