need help

well imma be jetting my buddys blaster, it has full fmf fatty and silencer, k&n air filter, airbox lid and bored .40 over, the carb is all stock, he has the fmf jetting kit with it but lost the directions, what range of jets should i put in. i was think 145 main and 3rd position on needle.

Stock carb uses Mikuni jets (think 230 stock up to like 400) If the jetting numbers don't "jive" (which most jet kits don't!) then drop that kit off at the nearest trash receptacle and get some genuine Mikuni jets. You'll need about a 280 with that setup (you didn't mention oil injection so I'm assuming removed) with the airbox lid on. Take that airbox lid off, and you can stick a 290 or 300 in it and he'll get some more power.

Stock main is 200 (iirc) with lid you may be 270 range. Start with needle clip in middle notch.

Wouldn't change a thing on the pilot! and ya start at 290 and plug chop!

Clip should be in the middle stock, but takes a second to check.
