ik that 1 spindle is bent but a closer look revealed that the piece that steers the wheel and is connected to the steering stem is bent.... anyone know the name? ill try to get a pic
yeah..... thanks man.... btw.... i just wanna make sure..... my wheel is cocked inward.... on like a 75 degree angle and thats happened before.... and last time it was a bent spindle.... is there anything else it could be so i dont buy the wrong part?
is this when the wheel with the bent side is straight? you need to put a new tie rod on it too regardless, and then align it if you didn't after the new spindle
w8.... i dont follow.. one side has a bent tie rod.... the opposite side has something else bent... i think its the spindle... the side that has the fine, straight tie rod has the tilted wheel
right, but when does it look bent? does it look bent when you put the handlebars so the wheel with the bent side pointing straight? more pics would help
i can try to get more pics tomorrow... bec its l8 and all i have is a phone.... but it looks bent no matter which way i turn the handlebars.... but it looks less bent when i turn the bars to the right... but its still noticeably bent
I think I'd start pulling things apart. Very well looks like the top leg of the left spindle may be stretched. Not that uncommon, to a lesser extent. Many of the used spindles I buy have this problem. That would cause your massive camber. If you had a pic of the spindle alone I could tell for sure.
