well i went to remove my tors on my '00 blaster and ran into some problems. i decided i would remove all unnessesary wiring, pretty much everything other than what it needs to run. i took all the electric tape of and started tracking down and cutting wires. i have all the wires that run to the black box under the hood(4wires, ground, coil, ?, ?). and that's about it. i tried cranking it, but it wont even start now. there is another box under the hood that has one blue wire going to it that is unplugged, but i don't know what that goes. basically i need to know what wires i need to make the thing run so i can check to find my problem. it looks to me like i would only need the wires that run to that box under the hood intact but i might have unplugged something in the kill switch on the handlebar. thanks!

well i got it running now, turns out it was a ground problem. now if somebody can help me identify these wires, that'd be GREAT.

from the cdi box these are the wires i have: ground-to frame, black/white-cut off, orange-coil, red/white-to stator, and a black/pink-to stator.

from the stator these are the wires i have: black- not hooked up, red/white- to cdi, black/pink- to cdi, yellow/red- not hooked up.

i have a feeling the black wire from the stator is a ground, but it's running without it hooked up, so what's up with that? and is this the bare minimum as far as wires that i need for it to run?
