need help with shee axle

what needs to be done to the brake cant get it to mount up right...its an 02

you need a shee brake hub or an '03+ brake hub for it

i have a shee hub the caliper and the braket dont want to go on

Do a search I beleve unstock240 has some pics of what he did to modify the cable brakes to work well,and I believe he incorporated a slide system for the caliper.Do a search he has pics of it.

so here is what i did

1,3,4 and 5 on the bracket i grinded down

2-had to gring down the back side of the caliper

and 6 had to grind down the threads on the bolt so it wouldn't hit the caliper on the other side of the bracket


\fits goodI:I just have to adjust my brakes now...and we all know how that is with these kind of brakes

Glad it worked for you.Personally I would have just swapped the caliper bracket around on the back side and use longer bolts and spacers to make up the difference rather than grinding down the caliper.Either way it worked for you and thats all that matters.Good job.

heyy, I can get a shee axle for a good price. on my 06 blasty will the axle just slide in with no mods to do ?

yea 03+ it will fit right in with no modifications.
