need help with my carb

just bought a 01 blaster and i cleaned the carb it was very dirty surprised it even ran but it was slow but i put it back on the blaster turned the air screw to 1 1/2 turns and have been trying to tweak with the idle screw but every where its set it idles way too high by the way my blaster is bored 50 over with a wisco piston and fmf gold serious fatty pipe with a fmf power core so if some one can help me out what should i do for the air screw and the idle

Check to make sure you didn't put the slide in the wrong way. The slot on the side lines up with the idle screw.

either make sure oil line is attached to carb or hole is still plugged/capped if pre-mix. Check for air leaks, air cleaner attached?

Larry's Shee the previous owner took of the oil injector but the lines are all still there

You said you took the carb apart. If you put the slide in wrong, it won't lower into the carb all the way. You can't just put it back into the carb any old way.

forgot to say that it idle good at a 1/4 turn on the air srew

its put in correct i checked it and did it again

found the issue the idle screw was striped out and it caused it to idle high
