I'm trying to help a local friend with this. I need to find a place that has this size piston in stock. It's for a Vito BBK.

^^^that piston is the wossner piston that LA sleeve uses. It will work in a vito's kit but not as effeciently as it will work in a LA sleeve BBK. Wiseco stopped making the big bore forged pistons for vito's so GL finding one. Sometimes you have to go with what you can get and the wossner migt be your best bet.

I have to go off topic here for a moment. I have called O'Conner a couple of times to ask stuff. I love talking to this guy! He's never made me feel like he has something better to do then talk to you. He don't try to rush you off the phone in any way. He will give you more then the basic info you need. He will Roland stuff to you. I have talked to alot of other people on the phone for info on all kinds of stuff and I must say Ken is A+.

To stray even further off topic... what's your impression of the Vito's cast pistons?

I don't like the idea of aluminum powder falling down into my crankcase if something ever happens to an engine.

Would you recommend running a forged wossner center intake hole piston or a cast vito's piston with the duel intake windows?

As long as there's no BS getting started,I don't mind off topic posts. As for pistons, Ken said ether one is good.

Every new 2 stroke MX bike comes with a cast piston. If that's all you can get, what it is is what it is. I know Blasterfreak ran the Wossner in his Vitos and his builder know his stuff. I got an old 240 Vito's in last night with a lot of time on it and the cast Vito's piston looks fine. If it was my choice, I would run the Wossner.

No BS here, just wondering if the wossner intake window design is worth the trade-off for it being forged or if the cast pistons vito's sells now are ok.

I like the idea of running the forged piston but I know most all factory engines use cast.
