hahahahaha this leads me to my next question do they sell upgraded tie rods? if so wheres the best place to get em and does anybody have any kicking around that they wanna sell me??

Hahaha, thats pretty funny. Hope nothing seriously broke! And I don't think "upgraded" tie rods were ever made. Someone should have a set on here they'd be willing to sell you.

That's not completely true.... Every set of a-arms I make gets .156" wall thickness chromoly tubing tie rods sent with it. They weight about 4 lbs a piece and cost me about $6 per side in just tubing but I think if someone hit a tree with their blaster, they'd be the only thing left straight on the front end.

I could, theoretically, make stock length "upgraded" tie rods to use the stock tie rod ends.

I think I remember seeing somewhere an upgrade kit that used different female tie rod ends but I *think* the spindle tie rod mounting holes had to be reamed to accept them.

how do they hold up on the trail and are they for sale or trade? I have a awk gsxr rear brake kit im trying to unload it just needs mounting brackets fabbed

there Alot better then stock, all heavy duty rods and ends. the stockers stripped the threads outta the tube the first time the blaster got air. i just changed over to the asr a arms and i couldnt use the with the wider stance. it sucks cause i just bought them last month. the set up they sent with the arms is the same 10mm as stock so i might keep em and try to adapt em. heres a link to the same set.

only thing with these was if I snapped one I wouldn't know what to buy to replace it? A honda Tie rod??

You've hit the nail of the problem on the head.....

Something aftermarket has to be replaced by the same part, not just any part....

What I'm gathering from your PM is that you snapped a tie rod END, not the tie rod itself. Is this correct? If so, you need a standard thread or reverse (Left Hand) thread?

Ya I snapped the tie rod end, but I figured I would just upgrade it because this is like my fifth tie rod end(my second this week) does anybody know if the inners are left hand thread I cant remember? I know the outers are.
