Pics tell it all. I do not have the privilege of a fuel level gauge, I usually make it level at the centre point.

@Blaaster you were 100% correct on my float/carb/bowl level test. Being an electrician by trade i know very little about a carb. i took mine to a shop and he found a hole in my float confirming that i was getting to much fuel to my bowl. With your test i knew i had carb issues (plus the fact i was dumping fuel out of my exhaust) and it gave me a direction to look. Your basic test although crude compared to an actual gauge is a wonderful tool for a diy guy
