My plug?

i just ran this new plug for about 15-20 mins kind of a plug chop
what is it telling me about my bike?

looks lean to me.

almost hard to tell, it looks as if its a mocha color, which is basically dead on, it could be a little lean thou.

you are a little on the lean side. you want it to be a cardboard color
try going up 1 jet size

Looks a bit lean but, you can not tell 100% without doing an all out plug chop but running it through all the gears and then cutting the engine off at the top of 6th.

If you do a plug chop by just riding around and stuff you could get a false read because you could be rich on the bottom and way lean on the top so it does not read right.

there is a 230 jet in it right now
and the next size up in the dyno jet kit is a 340
should i try the 340 or is that to much
i have Boyesen reeds
PC silencer
Toomey pipe
Airbox lid off with outerwear
Vitos air filter with prefilter
Oil block off kit
RK racing chain
Top End just rebuilt

yea that 340 is wayyy to big, you need a 250 260 in there with that pipe and no lid.
dont buy a jet kit, just pick up individual jets.

You can't tell from the pic. The place on the plug you need to look at is the bottom of the insulator. It's called the smoke ring and you need to either cut the threads off the plug to see it or use a good light source and a magnifying glass.

Yes just cruise down to your yami central and the dealer there in the spares will probably have them there
