My new pipe! Got a question???

okay guys my fmf pipe came today. looks pretty much good as new. nothing wrong.


interesting packaging i have to admit this guy gets a 8/10 for creativity

a box from a work stool flattened and taped over top of a summit box that wouldnt close with the pipe in it. it did its job nothings missing or damaged so i cant complain

on to the pics

and now to the question. this came with the flange pictured below and no spring. i know usually the flanges have loops on them for the spring?? he offered to send out the spring first thing tomorrow but idk if that will help or not. could i hook it somewhere else???

my fmf flange didnt have aspot to hook it on. i just hooked it to one of the cooling fins and its worked perfect

cooling fins? care to explain where could you hook it on those? is there a hole or something?

I made springs from some that i found at ace hardware. the ones on my toomey were weak and one fell off while riding so i found some heavyduty ones and cut and bent them to fit. worked great

if that were me, i'd get a small "S" hook, and mod it to go under one of the bolts, with the other loop bent towards the pipe hook, then put the spring between the 2 ?????

Mine is hooked on the head. It has 2 springs hooked to each other, one end on the pipe and the other end hooks on a fin on the head.

Hooking on one of the fins on the front worked. It was like the support that holds them apart. But got it all on good. Gonna start and check jetting tomorrow. A video is to come
