2008 Chevy Malibu LTZ with only 7000 miles on it.

These and other basic dimensions come straight from GM's Epsilon chassis that the 2008 Malibu shares with the Saturn Aura. So it's no surprise that our top-level Malibu LTZ carries the same 252-horsepower 3.6-liter double-overhead-cam V6 with variable valve timing that we've seen in the Aura. Unencumbered by the low-revving pushrods and restrictive two-valve heads of last year's 3.5-liter GM V6, the LTZ sprints to 60 mph in an energetic 6.6 seconds, finishing the quarter-mile in 15.1 seconds at 92.9 mph.

your just an expert on everything aint cha!! i drive a truck and wouldnt own a car. a car is worthless to me. cant fit my quad in there, just aint good for nothing but a loud stereo and a fart can. i bet you dont even get your hands dirty either and prolly drive a prius :o. you may not need a truck but i cant live without one. missing your ricerocket? check my treads lmao!!hahahahaha

Don't live on a farm
Don't have anything to haul(and if I did I can rent a truck for $20 from Lowes).
Don't have anything to plow that my snowblower doesn't take care of

23mpg is TERRIBLE compared to my cars 36mpg.

And this would be a problem why?

Neither are true, but even if they were:

1: I wouldn't have dirty hands
2: I would get over twice the gas mileage compared to your truck and closer to three times the amount your truck does with a Prius.......therefore saving a lot of money in gas costs of driving.

Just sayin.

well there u are truly wrong, it hauls my bike to the track, my quad to the trails and my ass to work, and pulls dumb people out of ditches when they are stuck dring their prius in the snow....need i say more, my wife has a crv for saving gas mileage, oh and mine can spank a lot of these sh*t can ricers around here...and made me over 300 dollars in the winter 2yrs ago pulling people out of ditches..just sayin

A truck isn't made for racing so I'm sure it could beat a slow civic.......as pretty much anything can. Trucks, cars, etc. aren't made for racing. Hell a vette can get 30mpg and will rape a truck and still get better mpg.

As for your uses.....to each their own. I don't need to haul all that stuff besides occasionally pulling a trailer for the Blaster. We take a truck to pull the trailer on our group rides but we take the farmer friend's trucks and not mine so all in all.......I still have no use for one. Never been stuck in a ditch, never had a car broken down......even then I wouldn't need to buy a truck and would just temporarily use a tow truck. The last time I used a truck was when I moved and that cost me $20 to rent one from Lowes.....not $20,000 to buy a truck.

To each their own. I'll take saving money and having better handling and drive-ability than driving a truck.
 
i see ur points but my truck is not stock...far from it and i would never trade it for a car. to each is own, love my truck and wouldnt get rid of it for the world, and it handles and drives better than most cars, drover it 4k miles and it was awesome.
 
I NEED a truck for lots of stuff. Trucks are slow? You better do some research because you don't know what your talking about. Supercharged Ford lightning. Chevy SS 454. And many modified turbo diesel trucks. In the end, nobody really cares what your opinion is when it's coming from behind your balls.
