just felt like doing a bit of bragging!! 
As some of you may know im in my final year (4th) of studing geosciences (Geology as well as environmental managment --geography) What most of you dont know is that my school mathematics mark wasnt too great so i was accepted into the extended course where i had to do a few extra modules and improve my maths. this was a difficult blow for me as i was on a different campus and made me feel stupid--like special class for the not so sharp. i have since moved up and joined the mainstream Bsc and have worked to proove myself to myself and last month i got a letter in the post saying I was awarded the Golden Key for last year at university. Its given to the top 15% of the universities students. so out of a university with 42 000 students, im pretty chuffed i made the cut considering only a handful of the receipients are from the science faculty
so basically i slapped those guys who thought i was stupid in the face!
Golden Key is an international organization and they are represented in almost all universities throughout the world. So its a MEGA plus to have on my CV and they will help me with employment opportunites!
My award ceremony is on tuesday night---free food!!
