easy on the language kiddo, we know u are upset, but it looks bad on the site with that title in the homepage, maybe tone it down a bit....

as for the fire, that is unfortunate, i would definately get the tester out to make sure the lights were your problem

well you'd be upset if that much money went down the drain on your blaster i'm sure. and how could anything else be my problem when it runs the stock headlight perfectly fine? it only went haywire on the wally lights.

I have had money wasted on my blaster, called a blown motor, a lot more then a hood costs, but I didn't come on here cursing at the world, reducing the quality of a site we have here, I don't care what you say in the thread, but keep the titles clean.

I will contact a mod and have them change it. I am not trying to pull rank or anything, just being reasonable.

I do feel bad for you, its hard for you youngins to come up with cash

what i think is funny is that alot of people on here run them and now after mine screwed me over everybody says they're sh*t... anybody got any ideas on what lights i can run that wouldn't look like sh*t on my blaster? i am sanding and smoothing the hood tomorrow to make it look a little better until i get money for a maier race hood and new add-on fenders. i already had a spare 450r hood scoop luckily haha

look around. they were a craze. like no one has them anymore. they all broke/burnt out/sucked. i said the same thing. i had nothing but trouble with them idk how everyone uses them. oh well. I'm back to stock. and if i would change to anything i would put an 03 hood and light on it

Wally World lights will eventually catch fire. that's happened to me twice before. Would be better to get some banshee lights or something.

You get what you pay for.I have said it before they are not good lights at all.I owned a set for the 2 days they lasted.Never again.Plus the stock light is brighter than wally lights.

i'm not trying to be unreasonable, i was just trying to get you to look at it from my point of view. if you want to you can get the mods to change it, i have looked but i forgot how/if i can change it. and yeah it's definitely hard for me to come up with money considering my mom is unemployed and her unemployment checks are gone, and i have no income. we are living off child support from my dad right now so things are really hard.

i have considered banshee lights but want something smaller about the size of the wally lights. i have been looking at the trail tech ones considering getting some for a banshee because they should fit a blaster if they fit a banshee.

hey guys, how would i check if my voltage regulator is good or not? or is that what to check? i am wanting to check and be sure before i buy more lights. and right now i'm looking at trail tech lights that have a new handlebar clamp and work that way...

My Wally lights fell apart pretty fast , I'm glad I read this post because I was considering doing Wally lights on my Banshee . Yep the mounts loosened up , the bezels were a biotch to get on and off and they tossed a less than stellar beam . I'm gonna look for an alternative

to use that particular kit you would have to change the stator because the lighting coil is only 55watt. you could use a single light kit though

You put them cheapo lights on a $250 hood? Really? Just sayin! That sucks but can you plastic weld and repaint the hood? Its gotta be salvageable. I mean before you dump more money try and fix this one.

the hood cost me $350 actually thank you sir lol and yeah i used them because everybody on here recommended them at the time, it was one of those things where it gets popular all of a sudden and then dies out... i'll NEVER run wally lights again... but my blaster has the gas drained and it is parked in my garage because i no longer ride it. i will finish fixing it's bugs and get it mint again but i won't be riding it much. i may teach my mom to ride it so she can ride with me since i got a 440ex we can both go riding.

ahh i'm fine lol just wish i didn't have to lose a hood to learn the lesson. and may i ask, what do you mean bypass fuses? also, after the wally ones blew i put my stocker back on which lasted for about 3 months before my regulator went bad and blew out my stocker too. now it won't run any lights haha

I must have misunderstood brother. I was thinking you took out the fuses ya blew and just went with straight wire

Either way it sucks to melt a PB hood.
