my friend needs help..

ok he got a 96 kx125 for 1200,ok nice bike,he got it in june,it had new rings in may,and he rode all summer and is now riding again,he thinks it will never need a rebuild,so im asking when do u think hell need rings,he rides a lil hard

ok so he rode basicly everyday 3 monthes of summer,and now hes been riding for about 3 weeks.so he'll be rebuilding it soon

my yz125 i ride hard almost everyday and havent loss much compression and its been lil over 6 months.

hmm maybe i should let my friend with his kx 125 know to get that done. just new rings and a hone right? not a new piston? he rides HARD with me and my other buddy and hes had it for a year now and it still runs strong. kawi's are tough motherfuckers if its survived him this long lol. you know you got that one friend that beats the sh*t out of something, think them, x3 lol. i only say kawi's are bulletproof because hes the guy shooting it constantly.

the piston isnt needed unless the rings melt in them or screw the piston up. a hone and rings should be all. yea kawi's are very tough i love there 250's

it matter if u say he rides hard then he should just try to change every 6 months
