What kind of clear coat are you using to keep the parts nice and shiney? I'm thought about polishing some small parts on my Banshee, but if I put all the work into polishing it, I don't want it to dull on me after a week.

anything you are going to polish will have to be maintained. 245stroker spends about 1hr a week polishing all his stuff.

You could clear but any scratch would be more noticeable. The clear wouldn't stick as well to a polished surface unless you roughed it up, then there goes your shine.

what does waxing do for it?? and what kind of wax would u suggest?

Waxing will seal the surface and stop them from hazing up due to corrosion. Some aluminum alloys will haze up in just a couple weeks if left out in the open.
Use a good old fashioned carnauba wax.

hes doing the kickstarts tonite but he says he dont think they are aluminum any idea on a clear coat he can use on those??

All my kickers are steel and yeah they will rust. I don't clear them because it will wear off quick and rust anyway. I just keep it waxed I:I
