Nah man, this guys awesome, he does sh*t dirt cheap and he sells parts hella cheap too. He has the piston kit from someone who had the same thing as me but he never came and picked it up so he's gonna sell it to me for dirt he said.
UMMMM....no idea to be honest? Are you asking me to see what I say or saying that cuz its a bad idea? Ive never done this kind of stuff before im still new to all the rebuild stuff. Im getting Wiseco stuff if that makes a difference.
Boring takes meat off your cylinder walls.. The less meat you have the less youll be able to bore it later if you blow a top end or something. You should probably only do .20 or .40 over to start..
Picked up my cylinder from the guy, it was $147.79 after tax because I wrote a check... I got a .20 over bore, a .20 over big bore piston from Wiseco, a hone, and smoothed the ports so the rings don't catch. Sounds like a fair deal to me.
