i love b5's ive never owned any 1/5 scales but ive had lots of 1/10 and some 1/18 scales like t-maxx, tower terror,duratrax crap, a mini lst, and others... how do you like the b5? i bet the motors are alot easier to tune and last alot longer.. do they have rings or are they just piston agenst the sleeve like the nitro motors?

i think it has rings its just like a weed eater motor.

my nitro traxxas smaxx had rings too

i have to call bull on that one lilja, it prably had either a 1.5, 2.5, or a 3.3 in it.. wich ive had all 3 of those motors tore down and no motor ive ever seen on a nitro car had rings... its just a piston and sleeve, when it goas bad you replace them both

Agreed. I have a full underbody kit ready to be painted to protect the entire chassy. I'm just waiting on the paint to come in.
Of course the wait is forcing me to drive it anyway but that's me.

I love it!
I've had large scale cars since the 90's. They go anywhere and are made of metal. This car is very durable.
Yes it is a single ringed 27cc motor. Similar to weed wacker but this one is putting out 7hp.
The few plastic parts that were stock were broken and replaced with alloy. Along with aftermarket drive shafts, gears, and diff.
