My blaster year.

i posted in the do it your self section and no one replied but i need help finding out what year my blaster is i looked on my frame got the vin but its only 15 digits long and i think it has to b 17 digits longs if im right.

if it is stock look on the bike there should be other stickers, the frame is not the only place the vin is.

ok i found the 16th one but there is one more and should there be a gap bettween the numbers???

I have no Idea where my vin is, I am not sure if it is stock or if there is a vin. I live in Northern Japan and there is no paperwork for them that I can read ha ha. I think its late 80's early 90's. I would like to know the year so I can purchase a wiring harness.

if your sittin on your quad the vin is on the left hand side by the shifter look for the 10th digit heres a chart i found online that i believe is right hope this helps ya 10th character- Identifies the model year. For example: 1988(J), 1989(K), 1990(L), 1991(M), 1992(N), 1993(P), 1994(R), 1995(S), 1996(T),
1997(V), 1998(W), 1999(X), 2000(Y)------2001(1), 2002(2), 2003(3)etc..

all i can say is keep looking maybe get a light piece of sand paper and sand it down a little
