My bike is HUGE!!!!!

That bike is really high...The YFZ does that though...One thing is that when you build the +5 or +6 swinger you need to make sure that you put the shock mount in the right spot. If you put it to far back (towards the carrier) to reduce the rake, your shock will be to horizontal and in turn have a really stiff ride....if you move it too far forward (towards the engine) the your shock will be too vertical and the shock wont hold you up. When it comes to shocks you cant mess too much with the angle of them....

Also if you want your shock to be "shorter" to reduce the height then, you need to compress the spring to the stiffest it can go. it wills till ride nice.

I like my YFZ rear cuz I am a big kid and it holds me up great!!!

yeah my wife told me no modifying anything else on my bike, she told me to ride it and enjoyt it,lol i told her i do enjoy it, i just enjoy working on it and making it better,ha! but, back to subject at hand, fabb is right, just make sure you place it in the right spot, i also heard of people cutting them to shorten them also.

what the wife dk won't hurt her, i already cut an inch off the bottom of the shock,as for placement on the swinger it will be trial and error
