My Banshee Restoration Project

After building my blaster and only getting 62 mph out of her I decided to quit spending more on it and scoop up a banshee. I found a 1987 last April for $900. I had been watching and I couldn't find one running for under $1500. I got it home and started working on it. The list grew so fast that I decided to do a frame off restoration. Here are some pics for your viewing pleasure.

Thanks! It was a J arm frame. I switched it so I had more front arm options.

Thats a +4 swinger. It has a stance of 75" long and 49" wide

Even with the +4 it pulls the front end up. I want to keep the front tires on the ground. Besides I'm not using it for hare scrambles.

For $380 I got all 4 new tires and used rims. Skid plates are next.

Thanks. Howver the new tires made another weak area bust. My clutch basket blew up today. The old bald tires would just spin on the pavement when it hit the power band, not today.

I already have a new driveline clutch. Now I'm going with a billet basket. I found a decent one on ebay for $210
