my bad luck

some of you may know that i got a yz 250 (in my sig) well god forbid i ever have a decent bike. i go to open up the clutch and one of the pressure plate bolts, the ones that hold the springs, came out a litle to easy. i went to put it back in an that spot was stripped and im broke now so i cant even order the part. i wonder when i will ever catch a break from this a luck lol

i had one do that on my blasty
i just went to the next size bolt and retapped the hole to fit, < might have even been the next size ase bolt, as it was closer to the metric one that stripped.
worked like that all last summer till ken got his hands on it and noticed it right away, which he promptly changed,
but it'll do till you find a new/used basket

thought of tapping it but did not know if it would mess anything up

if you get the new holes tapped nice and square, its no big deal at all. it'll get you running until you can afford the part

so the weight difference in the bolt doesn't matter? I stripped one and just replaced the boss on my blaster.

i only did the one, i hardly think the fraction of an ounce made much difference, but ken didnt like it,
but as stated, it ran like that all last summer
too bad 88's still not runnin blasty, i would have donated my old boss, i just did brand new with my billet basket and driveline clutch

my grandpa already stripped one on the blasty and i had to replace it lol
