my 450r is ready to race.

well, I went to a open practice at the track on march 28th. and I actually could not ride the quad because the front shocks were so f*cked up, so we came home and ordered some fox float evols...

so I missed the first race and my shocks should be here tomorrow or thursday, and I Have an open practice on the 25th to get the shocks tuned and some vids lol

deff let us know how you like those bars becuase im gettin those or flexx's before the season starts

well, at the practice I rode for 10mins with the softbars. then we switched to the regular bars for about 10mins then I was done because the quad was to hard to control (because shocks not bars)

and I can tell you that they are worth it. and I think the soft bars are better because the are adjustable...

it's not that I didn't "like" those shocks. I could not ride fast without almost crashing.....

I almost crashed 4 times in 1 lap....

So what shocks were on it that made it handle terrible? The Stock ones? Seems like I see alot of guys riding the tracks here with stockers on their 400ex's and 450's and they do ok.

How much do you weigh? You know you can get the stock shocks revalved and setup for your weight and riding style.

He was using the custom axis on the pic, and they were valved for him, but i guess they dont work for how he rides.

I'm a bit skeptical that different front shocks will take you from zero to hero, but whatever. I'll stay tuned for some vids hopefully. Sounds like maybe you just need more seat time to get used to the bike before you start throwing money and parts at it.

lol.... you have no clue how bad it actually was...

if that was the way the quad was made to handle, then nobody would ride one..

it needed new shocks... trust me lol
