MUSCLE Vs. IMPORTs

i agree with a few posts, and disagree with a few, but dollar for dollar, 10k for an import build, 10k for a muscle build, and chances are me and liquid could build a faster, more streetable, better handling, better looking car. but i guess thats all in the eyes of the beholder. everyone expects and perseive different things from different cars. i love all machines on wheels, no matter who and where they were built. i just think i know where i would put my money...IMPORT!!!!
 
If these imports are out there I haven't seen them on the street.
My 383 stroker Vortech YS trim Mustang has never lost to one or even came across one driving down the road.
Since I live about 10 minutes from MIR (you might has seen it on Pinks)
I can tell you this.
Don't go on import night or even import vs. domestic night
unless you enjoy watching imports break.
Imports to me are like 4 strokes.
Lots of money and maintenance to keep them winning races.
 
i gotta say i love all kinds of cars but i'm more of an import guy. how can you not like this car? if you have the volume down on your computer, TURN IT UP!!! LISTEN TO THIS MONSTER!!! oh and by the way... it's a V6 streetcar lol

I don't mind the Supra's either.
They are almost nostalgic to me cause they have been battling for so long.

well said, most people with imports i know are always afraid to do a dig cause they will "break a half-shaft" or such
one of the only imports i like are supras
 
u can take any import around the streets with me iv smokd a 300zx that had a lot done 2 it against my STOCK gt500 come on any1 wana go?? haha i like only some imports like porshe and subaro and toyota and mits but some imports heavy mod engines are like a 2 stock all topend but then a big v8 will still make the same if not more power so its a win win kinda convo nice thread

No sh*t!, my '68 Rambler American has a 370c V8 in it that's pumping out 520HP, haven't been beat in that yet either!
Even my Jeep Wrangler is faster than all of them crappy ricer Honda's, one cut me off one night coming home , that garbage can on the tail pipe told me he had his foot to the floor! so I hit the brights (GOTA! LOVE! them 90/130 H4 "E" code lights!!!) and stepped on the throttle, didn't even shift down and had to back out of the throttle so I wouldn't rear end him!
If they'd put half the $$ in the engine that they have in the stereo then maybe they wouldn't get laughed at so much!8-|
 
the funny thing about this whole thing is that people are talking about these pro racer's imports and all i've seen about muscle is everyday projects from regular people

a pretty close minded statement generalizing tuners. chances are you havent ever come across a well built tuner with performance as the theme...for all the guys with slow ugly ricers there are just as many rusted out, heavy, bad handling, muscle car with a tired ass in-efficient polluting v-8. but for both, there are many awesome cars that should be appriciated, no matter what country they were built in....btw, jeep wranglers are slow, even with the 4.0 (which i have in my cherokee.) lol

I find that hard to believe BUT if you say so I believe you.
I haven't even seen the car but I can tell you what it is:
A hollow shell of a car with slicks up front and zero torque.
It would be loud as hell inside the car, not handle, and drink gas.
I don't hate but relate.
