Motorcycle rider tries to steal a GoPro camera

looks more to me like he was just tapping the front of it to screw with the person recording and although it may have been a go pro it seemed more like a digital camera because the person recording was holding it. a go pro mounts onto an object so if they really wanted to go pro it they would have attached it to the side of the vehicle or trailer.
it's a gopro... you can tell by the audio
but I think you are right, looks like he was just trying to tap it..
yeah i couldn't tell a whole lot about the camera and i thought it was a different type of camera because my go pro sound quality either sucks or needs adjusted because i can barely hear any vids.
