i have a 1985 blaster 200 2 stroke an i need a motor. will a 2003 blaster motor work, will the motor mounts line up with out me making changes.

Nothin different in the motor mounts. Plug n play. Might have an issue with wiring tho.

correct on that. 03+ has 5 wire stator and different cdi. Easiest way would be put your stator on new motor.

If you want to keep you cdi and use a 03+ engine just ground the extra wire
