check ur tors it happend to meit was revin real high i mean it could be many things well do check ur tor it on top of the carb cap open it and take the gold spring out hope that help if any thing pm me

Mine revd like crazy as well and it was the left crank seal...got the seal and tusk puller and she's perfect...u really need to check tors idle screw and leakdown....if the idle screw and playin witht the tors don't wrk......most likely gotta leak...crank or so get a leak tester from holeshotman!!!
This is a really old thread. I'd guess it was the main seals but you can clean & adjust the carb and disconnect TORS first if you want. There's how to's on those & seal replacement in the archives. Just use search like you would google . There's also a few folks around that can help if you describe the problem. Good luck!
If anyone still having this issue Mine did the exact same was riding put the bike in neutral and it revved to the moon kill stwitch doesn't work i switched my carb with another bike same issue. played with the tors idle screw and air screw managed to get the very high revving down but that still never fix it 100% i saw a thread saying to spray starter fluid or carb cleaner so decided to try it since it was laying around and surprisingly the right side of the intake boot has an airleak bike starts to rev itself when carb cleaner is sprayed there
