Got a blaster awhile ago. Was in pretty bad shape visually and it wasn't running. I was told it just had no spark. It kicked over and had decent compression. Its been sitting on my work bench forever. I got the roller put back together now and have a decent job so Im working on the motor now. I already found some missing bolts and just kinda feel like I should go ahead and rebuild it. What are the main things I should look for? Im thinking of adding some go fast parts too ha. Im guessing new gaskets and what else? I will post pics tomorrow. I have never worked on a blaster so I guess I just need to jump in.

if u got the cash i like the comfort of knowing everything got done right the first time. bearings, seals, fresh top end and if ur gonna get a new crank anyways why not get a +3 stroker for a bit more juice lol I:I. now if u really wanna haul some arse you could send your cylinder out for some porting while u rebuild the bottom end I:I I:I

^^^^ +1 on that! And I agree with noober, if you really want some power stroked+ ported is the best way to go. Just remember, if you do that, you need a pipe to match the porting, and a bigger carb to feed that fuel thirsty motor.
