I see this thing on here that so many people just remove the air box cover. thats weak, jus put a honda 250r carb and an outer style k&n air filter and get rid of the whole air box
Some people ride trails an really dusty conditions, an wet conditions so its best not to do that unless you drag race. My opinion.
If you want to rebuild your quad quite frequent then I believe you, but most people would rather choose the middle ground and the safer side.
Anytime you run a filter off the carb, the more likely it is you will suck in dirt/debris into your intake and eventual breakdown the motor.

ya actualy I would say you guys are right because I use the air box wich I just zip tied on so I can take it off to race
