I would appreciate any info my son has a 2006 blaster 200 and it recently had a problem he was being towed by a friend because it wouldnt run he thought it was in neutral and it wasnt long story short clutch handle slipped and hit 1st gear at 30mph now clutch on handlebar hangs free. I am a single mom cant afford a shop to fix it so I tore it down myself and checked clutch everything seems tip top but as I took out pressure plate with pushrod still attached I heard something fall it was a small steel ball bearing i have done my research and i believe that ball is supposed to go in between the two pushrods. Is that right??? How can I get it back in I tried and it wont go I am afraid to force it in. Any help at all will be great. Am I doing something wrong? this bike is driving me nuts! lol thanks so much for any help this site is great lots of helpful info!!!

yes the ball goes between the two rods.the ball should just go right in the then the rod for the pressure plate goes in.it just slides in.the nut for that rod is how you have to adjust the clutch to.the clutch lever that goes in the engine is suppose to be even with the line on the top of the bottom end

i have tried and tried and ball wont go in is there a trick to popping it in there? I thought that is where it went but when i take the rod out for pressure plate i have greased the ball and everything! I am stumped!!? any ideas?

the ball should just slide in there. there might be something jammed in there. did you take out both push rods? ones attached to the pressure plate but if i recall correctly, the other one can just slide out. how far in does it go before it gets stuck?

where you located?? who knows maybe your close enough for one of use to come check it out for ya....
but yeah go ahead and try to force it a little like within reason...
are you trying to do this with the clutch plates still on the clutch basket?

i only took out one push rod the side with the clutch basket and all i can look back inside with a light and see the end of the other push rod and nothing is jammed i cant even get the ball started inside the tube where the pushrod slides in i have checked the ball and looks like new not damaged ot anything it makes no sense i am afraid to force it or should i because inside the tube where the pushrod slides it has the threads at the end for the adjusting screw end of the rods dont want to mess them up! any ideas??

Well my lady, I'm momentarily stumped. Logically if it fell out it should "fall" in. Least this will get you to top of list. Maybe clean inside of shaft with Q-tip, maybe piece of something there.
