Mods you don't see everyday

Lately, I have been seeing some mods on the members bikes that makes me wonder why, or how? I decided to put the list here and see if you gents can lend a hand.
1. No cover over the stator. I just saw several pics where the stator is completely exposed. Can you really ride this way, and why would you?
2. Transparent clutch cover. This is really cool but how is this done, is glass added some how? Does this have a function?
3. Anybody got any more funky mods that leaves them clueless?

never ride with no stator cover, you don't want water and stuff down in there.

the clear clutch cover is done with some plexiglass, no real function to it unless you make it large enough to be able to service the clutch without pulling the cover

running without a stator cover is a bad idea, it spins really fast and could catch on your shoe, and it also exposes it to the elemnts. Freek makes see through stator covers, they look bad ass, also, i think freek does see through clutch covers too, if you are intrerested shoot him a pm, i am sure he would be happy to let you know how it all works, his screen name is blasterfreek30

i just started making some chain tensioners that take over duties for the bottom roller and the swingarm slider, a link to a pic is in my sig, havent settled on a price yet but i will be done production in a few days and will have a few available at first
