so i recently bought a yamaha blaster 200 and it runs good but it wot idle and wont have all the power it should have unless its on full choke does anyone know why ?
It wont idle ?Keep the oil injection.
Smoke is no indication of correct jetting.
If you mix oil in the fuel you will need to re jet as the AFR will change, and you will end up with a smoky lean mixture which may fry the piston.
You can test the injection, after idling for a while, briefly remove the injection line from the carb.
A small amount of oil should dribble from the hose.
There will be enough buildup of oil in the bottom end to allow you to have the line off for 5 seconds at idle.
Can u post a picture of were the oil injector line is because there is two lines coming from motor one is going into injector other is going into carb thanksIt wont idle ?
Mine has a lot of white smoke ? ):Stock pipe likes the silencer.
Smoke is an indication of rich fuel/oil or a crankshaft seal.
White smoke is bad!
How do u do a test ?Filthy carb or air leak.
Leak test it first.
