modifying some parts

i was wondering if anyone has extended the a arms on a blaster i was thinking you should be able to make the a arms 3" wider / side buy using soem thicker toobign that slids over the existing a arm toobing then mig weld some cross pieces as well as doign the same to the tie rods, i want to extend an extra swign arm i have using some thinker retangle toobing, and get everythign all measured up and welded up

what would be a good length to extend the rear end 4 or 6" with a cross support?

+3+1 refers to a-arms. Plus three length, plus one forward.

yeah i have access to a tubing bender that will bend up to 1 3/4 pipe, and i also have access to mig and tig welders, painters ect.. in boces, but i bought a cheap extra swing arm and i am going to get the tubing here in the next week or 2 to extend the swing arm 4" and this weekend i want to get my frame welded back together, the extra frame i got free someone cut the 4 pipes and pulled it apart to put a motorcycle motor in so its gotta be put back together
