Hi, I am new to the blaster forum. The problem I have is that i can not find the vin on my blaster frame? IDK if it is worn off or what. There are no grind or file marks in the place where the vin should be. Any suggestions?

The vin numbers are stamped- and not very deep at all.
It's probably there under the paint unless somebody sanded the crap out of the frame instead of sand blasting it before paint or PC.
Take Surfrjag's advice.

if the frame was ever replaced with a new one from Yamaha, it will not have a VIN# on it. i've bought a few new frames (Banshee,Raptor 660) and know that Yamaha does not put them on there unless it is a complete unit to be sold on dealer floors with title. could be the case here unless you know the full history of your bike and know that it's never been replaced. could have been painted or powdered over like said in previous post.

Thanks for all the feedback guys. I am gonna hit it with some sand paper now and see if I can find it. The only numbers I was able to find were on the engine between head and crank case. It is a 11 digit number. Beleave it starts with zxjoo195c3m? Anything else to help would be great. ALSO.....Was gonna order exhaust today but am stuck between FMF or white bros? FEEDBACK?????? Thanks.

Well I live in northern ohio so its mostly alot of muddy trails and highspeed flats. the way I ride i'm sure I'll be searching for a new head before long as well.

what kind of riding do you do? fmf is more of a low/mid rpm pipe, idk about the white bros

Wowz, I didn't even know White Bros made a Blaster pipe. You might want to look into a Toomey...they rock (from personal experience) and still perform well if you get your top end ported and head done later on down the road. Just call Ken O Connor when the time comes to get your top end done. He mills and re-chambers stock heads with very good results.

lrd for me but they dont make anymore have to find used also ive heard good about f7 pipe toomey and cpi.

I like my toomey as well. good over all power boost. And I wasn't aware White Bros made a blaster pipe, either!
