Hi Guys, bought a really nice blaster with motor in a basket... crank gone. Bottom end almost back together (thanks KOR for the great videos) but ran into a road block last night. I'm missing the hold down tab for the crank seal. Now I've put a bunch of 2 strokes together and have never seen one used. Does anyone have one they want to sell or can I just run it without?

the part number is 37f-13128-00-00 for the holder and its less than $9.00 and the screw part number is 98507-08010-00 and that is less than $3.00 i would just order it from the dealer. its intended to keep the seal from walking out and causing lean issues. i would put the part in it.
please make sure those are the correct parts before you order. i looked up for a 2002 machine on the right side crank case. was the only holder and screw by the crank. other years may very.
