Just bought a 36mm mikuni vm for my blaster with a vitos 240 kit. Also running a cfm airbox. Just trying to to get a good starting point for jetting. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

hmmmm, a mikuni 36 huh ?

here's the only info I know about, a 35 mik I believe....

we have jetting ranges for the more popular keihin 34-36's, but not mikuni's that I know of.
one of the biggest gains made with the keihins was the "DGH" and "CEL" needles that made a huge difference from the normal "J**" needles they came with from the 250cc bikes.
I got that info from the guy at carb parts warehouse, it was spot on, and many of us run them now.
the porting layout and lack of power valves on our blasters make them vastly different then the 250's, even with a 240cc cylinder.

I suggest you give CPW a call and bet he'll have some jetting info for you.
