i know this might be a dumb question but i dont wanna blow my top end over not asking a question. anyways so if my plug chop showns not much color and is very light colored its lean right? and the opposite for rich, if its dark and shows very dark color. and also i will get a accurate plug chop by doing WOT for 5 or 6 seconds in 4th gear WOT?

The only dumb question is the one that is not asked.

As Long as you can get WOT with the motor pulling really hard, 4-5 seconds will be ok.

The ring will be harder too see, but it should show the right colour.

what wot? i see that alot wide open trottle?.. an i thought you had to go 1st through at kleast 5th wide open on the thread i read then pull the clutch turn off the bike an drift to a stop an use that plug for the chop?

That is correct. You use your old plug to warm it up then install a new one for the plug chop.

well alright making sure i was right im doing a plug chop as soon as i get my leak tester from slick aint starting the bike before that

YUPPERS! Just hit WOT, 4th gear for a shorter period of time is ok, 5th or 6th is recommended because you can hold it longer at safer RPMS, which the length of time helps the stain on the ceramic. It could be adviseable to do a plug chop at 1/2 or 3/4 throttle too, especially if you aren't always running WOT but are at cruising speeds more often like with trail riding.

well ill do three ez one WOT, 1 3/4, an one 1/2 but thats a lil later leakdown an finish carb, reeeds work first an you beena big help on all my threads i thank u greatly... you tought me alot good things i didnt knowI:I:D
