may be getting a new blaster

Could be. Need a lot more info. Way bore is the cylinder on? What's the frame and plastics look like? Do the brakes work? Tread on tires? Crank/bearings good? Does it have good spark? Good chain/sprockets?

Well than your Looking at a couple hundred bucks to fix that. I have bought and sold enough bikes to know that odds and ends add up. If your getting it for 500 I would expect to spend another 4 or 5 hundred to get it where you want it. This is without seeing it of course. So you would have around 1000 bucks in a blaster with a fresh top end and in decent shape. I say go for it. Any mods would be a bonus at this point.

if it dosent work out buy an la sleave wife's blaster is definatly right in his thinking 210 for a bore piston hone rings and labor. then there odds and ends for making it look the way you want standard stuff not including tires mabey 75, if you want fresh tires just rears 140 tops. so yea it does add up god knows how much is costs to buy the new sleave(if it's nedded) and have it pressed in place. id post up pics of the sleave/cylinder but I'd buy it anyway
