Massively Overinflated Tires

This blaster Ive had for almost 2 weeks came stock with some massively overinflated tires. They are so bad when I dropped the pressure down to around 2 pounds They were flexing so much putting around the house that they were hitting the foot rests. Its a shame because they still have 75% tread on them and I cant really afford the new tires I want right now. One of my buddies was saying that all that flex in the rear end could have to do with the carrier bearings but it seems like all the flex is coming from the tires not the axle or housing.
Just to be sure what are some of the problems that I should notice with bad carrier bearings?

well the way to really know for sure if its the bearings or not is to take he chain off, then try to move the rear end front to back/up to down. if theres movement you'll know the bearings are shot

you should probably be running more pressure than that. i wouldn't go much under 4lbs.....

bad carrier bearings, if the axle can move up&down/fore&aft in relation to the carrier, the bearings are junk

Put the rear of the quad is off the ground. Like by putting a jackstand under it or something. Then move the axle to check to see if your bearings are bad. If it moves they're bad.

HA any pressure in the tires is frowned upon with the hill climb guys around here. If your tires dont look like they are ready to come off the bead then you have to much pressure!!! I dont agree I think that at a point underinflated tires will start to loose traction but Im no tire specialist.

And thanks everyone for letting me know how to check the carrier bearings. I will get back to you after I do a few test and waterproof the wiring on my 3wheeler for some muddin

you should run pressure that maximizes contact patch. too much and they'll balloon up leaving just the middle touching the ground, too little and the center will fold into the tire leaving just the edges in contact with the ground.

There is roughly an 1/8th to 1/4 inch of movement when I lift the rear and lift the tires up and down. I suppose thats another thing I have to add to the list of parts carrier bearings. So is that all I need is the bearings? will the old spacers and whatever else be good?

Get the seals too. When ya move your axle watch the front of the swing arm for movement there. The front swing arm bearings don't last long, there's a lot of load there.
